Pen-pals...

Congratulation

Dearest Erik Happy birthday with your 53 of year

I presume you don’t can feel your age at all

If you please will apologize me for my words, which's fare from near

to the perfect - but you just will need to give me a call

for help translating if the meaning will get lost

But I know that you are bright enough - to get the most

I am thankful oh, so thankful that the choice you did that time

was to fall on me - I just want you to know.

And because of that I try so hard to make a "speaking" rhyme

- that’s the best way - for me - if I really want to show

and express to you that thankfulness I feel

I often think: Are you mine for real?"

Rhyming in a language, which isn’t mine for sure

is difficult - I wonder if you see

that my work was costing lot of brainwork but I can assure

you, that all my work is worth it - don’t you agree?

Dearest Erik I have planed to let the postman take this note

all over to the island where you will come to with a boat.

If you see a meaning and a point in all these words I wrote

you have got a birthday message as you want

If the words are just some mess - you just can go and find a goat

which will always eat some paper as a croissant

Thinking after I will not let the postman be in trust

so I take the letter by myself because you must

have the birthday letter on the day it really belong to

I just come up with remembering to say

that you have to forgive me 'cause the rhythm is new

you never before have heard this way

to express a congratulation - but then again

you know I do have problems - often - with my brain.

Now I end this letter - which was written from the bottom of my heart

And I thank you for have giving me a year

I hope with all my soul that I can always be a part

in you life - and we both know that God has happen to appear

a chance to us in what we with our life can do

Dearest Erik do you know - that I love you?

Yours sincerely wife (forever I do hope - 'cause I never with you will mope)
